Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright drives through with a takedown into guard.
Wright throwing strikes from guard but Dann blocks nicely.

It looks like Wright might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dann really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wright uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dann.
Dann throws a hook but Wright blocks it.
And Wright tries to counter it with a takedown but Dann pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Erick Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
