Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ser Pent (ranked 5085 p4p, 3817 weight class) and Allan John Villanil (ranked 237 p4p, 205 weight class). Ser Pent has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ser Pent! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Allan John Villanil! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pent swings for the body but Villanil moves out of range.
Villanil has his takedown stuffed and Pent counters with a nice uppercut. Villanil shoots in looking for a takedown. Pent tries to sprawl out of it but Villanil keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pent manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Villanil shoots and misses and Pent connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ser Pent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Allan John Villanil. Villanil with a poor takedown and Pent counters with a lovely straight right hand! Villanil misses with a takedown attempt and Pent counters with a nice body shot. Nice uppercut there from Pent. Pent lands a slapping body shot.
Pent throws a shot to the body.
Villanil misses with a takedown attempt and Pent cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pent misses with a two punch combination.
Villanil darts in looking for a takedown but Pent gets double underhooks and turns Villanil into the cage. It looked like Pent was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Villanil doesn't succeed with the takedown and Pent counters with a nice uppercut. Villanil looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round. Pent slaps away a takedown attempt from Villanil, before circling back to the center of the mat. Pent misses with a wild combination.
Villanil fails with the takedown enabling Pent to counter with a crisp jab. Pent is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Villanil fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Pent appears to be looking for a big counter. Villanil is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pent sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Villanil looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Villanil drives through with a takedown into guard. Pent wants to stand up but Villanil is controlling him. Villanil drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pent manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Villanil has Pent in his guard. Pent wants to stand but Villanil has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Villanil seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Pent really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Villanil's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pent stopping the sweep attempt from Villanil. Villanil has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Good standup being displayed there by Pent as he connects with a hook. Villanil shoots and misses enabling Pent to counter with a crisp jab. Pent moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Pent dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Ser Pent is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Villanil closes the distance and clinches up with Pent, looking for a takedown. Villanil pushes Pent against the cage but Pent circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Pent fails to land with a series of punches.
Pent sets himself, and Villanil steps forward looking for the clinch! Pent avoids it this time. Villanil misses with a takedown and Pent cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Villanil fails with the takedown. An attempted straight right counter from Pent misses the target. Villanil shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Pent counters with a lovely straight right hand! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ser Pent dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Villanil misses with a takedown and Pent counters with a nice uppercut. Villanil fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Villanil tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pent defends well and Villanil ends up having to push Pent into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Ser Pent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Allan John Villanil. Villanil tries for a takedown but Pent circles away easily and Pent connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Pent gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Villanil to score an easy takedown into full guard. Villanil drops back looking for a leg! Pent is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pent manages to kick Villanil off! Villanil jumps back into Pent's guard. Pent will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Villanil is pushing down on Pent's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pent is fighting to maintain full guard but Villanil has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's one minute gone in the round. Villanil is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pent has managed to free his arm - good work. Villanil in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Pent tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Villanil!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Allan John Villanil!
