Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Barty Karate (ranked 25547 p4p, 4271 weight class) and Armando Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Barty Karate! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Armando Garcia! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia fails with the takedown and Karate counters with a lovely straight right hand! Karate is trying hard to land a takedown here. Garcia sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Karate changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Garcia tries to avoid it but Karate manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Garcia to the ground. Garcia escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Garcia shoots and misses and Karate connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Karate looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Garcia is fending him off so far but Karate persists. Nope, Garcia circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barty Karate. That's going to take a lot out of him. Karate gets a clinch. Garcia is working for takedown but Karate is calmly controlling the position for now. Karate changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Garcia fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Karate shoots in for a takedown but Garcia shows good takedown defense. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Karate has closed the distance and engaged Garcia in a clinch.
Karate gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Karate will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Well, if Karate is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Garcia is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karate is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Garcia slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Garcia manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Karate manages to get himself to full guard.
Garcia wants to control from the top but Karate keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Karate is pulling down on Garcia's head. It's preventing any offense from Garcia, at least for the moment. Garcia trying to control the position from guard on top but Karate is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Karate keeping full guard, as Garcia tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karate lands a good elbow from the bottom. Garcia trying to control but Karate is working from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Garcia pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Garcia gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Karate moves into the clinch. Karate stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Garcia can't break the clinch.
Karate landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Karate is trying to drag Garcia to the mat but Garcia just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Karate tightens his grip and picks Garcia up, before dumping him to the ground. Garcia manages to land in guard. Karate is breathing heavily. Karate sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Garcia doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Karate paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Garcia - great work!
