Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gaetano Scirea (ranked 4209 p4p, 3280 weight class) and Gilberto Pilao (ranked 0 p4p, 446 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scirea throws a jab but it's blocked by Pilao.
Pilao is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Pilao wants to counter with a clinch but Scirea pushes him away.

Scirea lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Pilao or not.
Pilao throws a punch but it's blocked by Scirea.
Scirea gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pilao.
Pilao is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Scirea looks to land a left hand but Pilao moved out of range nicely.
Scirea cracks Pilao with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Scirea creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Pilao is rocked!
Scirea unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Pilao! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Scirea is unloading with more strikes now! Pilao drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
