PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kai Faletau (ranked 3296 p4p, 3768 weight class) and Donny Solade (ranked 344 p4p, 389 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Solade throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Faletau tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Solade is in Faletau's guard.
Solade makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Solade looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Faletau has his foot on Solade's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Solade works his way back into a safe position though.
