Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miles O Brien (ranked 1518 p4p, 1773 weight class) and Patrick Slinger (ranked 137 p4p, 151 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Slinger's choice of entrance music: Hail Mary. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miles O Brien!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Patrick Slinger!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slinger tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and O Brien is able to avoid easily.
Nice defenses there by Slinger.
Slinger drops down looking to force a counter takedown but O Brien defends it well.
O Brien closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Slinger lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Slinger throws a sloppy head kick and O Brien moves out of range easily.

Slinger shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has O Brien pinned against the cage. O Brien gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Slinger isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. O Brien stacks Slinger on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by O Brien!

O Brien connects with a good right hand that stumbles Slinger. Slinger circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

O Brien scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Slinger seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. O Brien shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Slinger is backing up but O Brien catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Slinger covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! O Brien Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Miles O Brien!
During a confident post fight interview, Miles O Brien thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
The defeated Patrick Slinger had this to say: 'Congratulations to my opponent. He got the better of me, and deserves all the credit in the world for his hard work. I hope we meet again.'.
