The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tochukwu instigates a clinch.
Tochukwu tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hughes smiles and moves away.
Tochukwu clinches with his opponent.
Tochukwu tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hughes just stands there and leans against the cage.
Tochukwu jumps guard but Hughes stands there with Tochukwu around his waist. Tochukwu gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Brad Hughes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Otto Tochukwu.

Tochukwu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hughes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
