Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vtnom Snake (ranked 4155 p4p, 4421 weight class) and Bold Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snake's entrance music is wae. A fine choice. Bold Man will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vtnom Snake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bold Man!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snake moves into the clinch.
Snake drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Man is trying to push Snake away but Snake has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Man is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Snake gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Man is looking to break free of the clinch but Snake has double underhooks.

Snake has Man pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Man manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Man is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Snake pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Man jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Snake walks away with a smile on his face. Man gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Vtnom Snake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bold Man.
Man tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Snake manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Man shoots in looking for a takedown but Snake manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Man's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
No luck for Man with that takedown attempt.

Snake seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Man tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Snake defends well and Man ends up having to push Snake into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Snake throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Man's waist but Man gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Snake off to one side.
Man is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Man throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Snake tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Man is in Snake's guard.
Snake preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Snake looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Man is defending well. Snake quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Man has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Snake celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Vtnom Snake!
Vtnom Snake spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
