Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vinicius Tonioli (ranked 1042 p4p, 1732 weight class) and Joey Williams (ranked 146 p4p, 234 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tonioli cracks Williams with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Tonioli does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Williams feints the counter takedown.
Tonioli looks to throw the jab but Williams is out of range.
Williams unleashes a big counter combination but Tonioli bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Williams drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Tonioli defends it well.

Tonioli rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Williams ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tonioli moves away.
Williams takes a swing at Tonioli's ribcage but misses.
Williams scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tonioli in his tracks.
Tonioli walks into a stiff left hand from Williams.
Tonioli bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Tonioli throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Tonioli throws a looping overhand right but Williams ducks down to avoid it.
Williams looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Tonioli takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Tonioli was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Tonioli uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Williams.
Williams looks to throw the jab but Tonioli is out of range.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Tonioli goes for a small jab and connects. Now Tonioli goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Williams stumbles back but Tonioli runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Williams to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Williams will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
