PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Ruiz (ranked 2635 p4p, 3037 weight class) and Hugh Jass (ranked 336 p4p, 370 weight class). Ruiz comes into the arena with DB7 - Squid Game Drill blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jass misses with a body punch
and Ruiz counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Ruiz moves into the clinch.
Jass wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Jass is rocked!
Ruiz jerks Jass's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Jass drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Ruiz goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Ruiz because Jass was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
