Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Randy Lahey (ranked 5675 p4p, 24699 weight class) and Badri Bolkvadze (ranked 478 p4p, 510 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Lahey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Badri Bolkvadze! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lahey misses with a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Lahey throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bolkvadze. Bolkvadze lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Lahey throws a left and a right that both miss
and Bolkvadze counters with a solid body kick. Lahey lands a two punch combo.
Lahey throws a series of punches but Bolkvadze avoids them all with ease. Bolkvadze moves in looking to clinch but Lahey pushes him off. Bolkvadze lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Lahey misses with a double jab
and Bolkvadze counters with a body kick that stops Lahey in his tracks momentarily. Bolkvadze clinches with his opponent.
Lahey blocks a body shot from Bolkvadze. Lahey wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bolkvadze has him pressed against the cage. Bolkvadze prevents Lahey from breaking the clinch. A knee to the head by Bolkvadze.
It looks like Randy Lahey has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bolkvadze has Lahey pressed against the cage, preventing Lahey from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Bolkvadze looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A frustrated look appears on Lahey's face as he tries to break the clinch. Lahey is breathing heavily. Bolkvadze manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Bolkvadze lands a good knee to the midsection. Lahey won't want to take too many of those.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bolkvadze manages to break the clinch.
Lahey takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Bolkvadze tries to clinch but Lahey moves out of range. Lahey throws a big counter combination but Bolkvadze scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Lahey tries to bum rush Bolkvadze with a series of wild strikes but Bolkvadze uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lahey misses with a two punch combination.
A combination from Lahey does no damage. Bolkvadze shoots in looking for a takedown but Lahey manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bolkvadze's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bolkvadze fails in his attempt to clinch. Bolkvadze tries to clinch up. Lahey seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Bolkvadze connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Bolkvadze doesn't manage to clinch there - Lahey circles away.

and Bolkvadze counters with a nice low kick that buckles Lahey's knee momentarily. Bolkvadze gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Bolkvadze landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee is keeping an eye on Bolkvadze - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Bolkvadze throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lahey's waist but Lahey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bolkvadze off to one side. Lahey swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bolkvadze counters with a thumping low kick. Lahey circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bolkvadze throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

That's three minutes gone in the round. No joy there for Lahey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bolkvadze wants to stall.
Bolkvadze lands a good knee to the midsection. Lahey won't want to take too many of those. Bolkvadze utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Bolkvadze lands an elbow inside that Lahey shrugs off. Bolkvadze crunches a lovely knee into Lahey's ribcage. Bolkvadze is trying to stall.

Bolkvadze is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage. Bolkvadze is stalling here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Bolkvadze lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Bolkvadze scores with a knee to the head.

Lahey is rocked!
Randy Lahey's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Bolkvadze breaks the clinch.

Bolkvadze shoots in looking for a takedown but Lahey manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bolkvadze's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Randy Lahey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Badri Bolkvadze. Lahey misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bolkvadze moves in looking to clinch but Lahey pushes him off. Bolkvadze gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bolkvadze breaks the clinch.
Bolkvadze tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bolkvadze goes for a double leg but Lahey avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lahey continues to drive forward. Lahey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A slapping body kick lands there for Bolkvadze. Bolkvadze thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Lahey if he has to take too many more of those.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Badri Bolkvadze dominated that round. The cut man is working on Randy Lahey's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Lahey takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Lahey wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bolkvadze throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Bolkvadze lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Bolkvadze lands a big knee to the head and Lahey goes down! Bolkvadze pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
