Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Mason (ranked 4964 p4p, 25579 weight class) and Danny Welbeck (ranked 357 p4p, 396 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gunner Mason!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Welbeck!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Welbeck closes the distance and clinches up with Mason, looking for a takedown. Welbeck pushes Mason against the cage but Mason circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mason lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
