Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Linus Rydanovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rydanovic might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to acdc - war machine. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang drives through and clinches with Rydanovic against the cage.
Rydanovic trying to land knees to the body.
Rydanovic can't break the clinch.
Wang breaks from the clinch.
Wang throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Andy Wang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rydanovic looks to clinch
and Wang counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Wang stands up and beckons Rydanovic to join him on the feet.
Wang tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rydanovic swivels and escapes.

Rydanovic is in a horrible position here. Wang smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

and Wang counters by moving into the clinch.

and Wang decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rydanovic's guard.
Rydanovic throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Wang escapes and throws Rydanovic's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Wang controls the position.

and Wang counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rydanovic is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wang is controlling him.
Rydanovic can't keep his opponent in guard - Wang advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Wang wants the takedown. Rydanovic is fighting it off but Wang persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Rydanovic's guard against the cage.

Wang has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Wang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rydanovic swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wang is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rydanovic is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rydanovic has escaped and now he's on top!
Rydanovic gets to his feet. Wang looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Wang gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Rydanovic counters by moving into the clinch.
Wang avoiding damage as Rydanovic throws knees to the body.
Wang is pressed up against the cage. Rydanovic has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wang down to the mat. Wang avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Linus Rydanovic. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Wang or perhaps it was just good defense by Rydanovic which made him look bad.

Wang decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wang uses his free foot to push down on Rydanovic's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rydanovic.
Wang is landing with some decent strikes but Rydanovic is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wang can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rydanovic is looking to escape.

Rydanovic bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Rydanovic would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Wang wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Linus Rydanovic has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Andy Wang comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Wang has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
