Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between InSaen Chai (ranked 1814 p4p, 2074 weight class) and Pete Price (ranked 279 p4p, 309 weight class). InSaen Chai has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, InSaen Chai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pete Price! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chai is looking to clinch but Price is avoiding it.
Price misses with a looping right. Chai throws a leg kick but Price checks it. Price connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Chai's hands. Price walks into a straight right hand from Chai. Price fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chai manages to avoid it. Chai tries to clinch but Price is having none of it. Chai punishes Price's body with a nice straight punch. Price takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Price is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Chai with a body shot. Chai moves into the clinch. Chai tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Price breaks from the clinch.

and Price makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Chai displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Price throws out the jab. Price throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chai stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Price throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Price has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Chai throws a front kick that sends Price stumbling back into the cage. Chai misses with a hook. Chai gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Price to score an easy takedown into full guard. Chai is looking to stand back up but Price counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Chai.
Chai on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Chai tries to get out of the position. Chai pushes Price off looking to stand but Price dives back in and keeps control.
Price stalling. Price is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Chai sees it coming and defends easily. Chai is looking to get back to is feet but Price passes into side control.
Chai is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Price asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Price throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Chai is looking for a sweep. Price moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Price is working Chai over with some ground and pound from side control. Price scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Chai to see if he's OK. Price tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Price has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Price cracks Chai with a big right hand but Chai just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Price gets to mount! Chai was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Chai wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Price prevents Chai from getting the reversal. Chai tries to lock up and control but Price gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Price takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Price postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Chai looks a forlorn figure.
Chai is squirming around, avoiding Price's attempts to control the action. Price looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Chai is looking to get to half guard. Price looking to finish Chai with some ground and pound. This is bad for Chai! This has been an exciting period of action! Price landing strikes, looking to finish! Chai is trying to escape the mount.

Pete Price dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Price works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. InSaen Chai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chai pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice defenses there by Chai. Chai fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Price, pushing him back against the cage. Price tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Chai's elbow. Price working aggressively here.
Price has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Chai avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Price wants a takedown but no success here.

Chai has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chai bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Price avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Chai's corner calls for a 1-2. Chai obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Price throws a jab when Chai was well out of range. Price closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Price connects with a good right hand that stumbles Chai. Chai circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Price is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chai is just riding it out for now. Price eventually gives up the hold. Price is pressing down on Chai's thigh, looking to free his foot. Chai is holding on for now. Pete Price has got the better of the ground game so far. Chai is looking to escape.
And that's the end of the fight! Pete Price comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Price has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
