The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pennington closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Fox is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Fox tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pennington just stands there and leans against the cage.
Fox goes for a takedown in the clinch but Pennington prevents it.
Pennington gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Pennington looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
