Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hrvoje Palmotic (ranked 314 p4p, 751 weight class) and Joey Faolin (ranked 49 p4p, 112 weight class). Palmotic comes to the cage accompanied by One day I'll be king. Faolin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: It Ain’t a Crime by House of Pain. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hrvoje Palmotic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joey Faolin!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faolin is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Faolin jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Palmotic looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Faolin throws an off balance right hand
and Palmotic counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Palmotic uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Faolin.
We've been told by Palmotic's head coaches at DC Dragon Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Faolin avoids the body shot from Palmotic.
Faolin misses with a left hand
and Palmotic counters with a left to the body.
Palmotic takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Palmotic throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Faolin.
Palmotic slips a jab and a cross from Faolin.
Palmotic was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Faolin sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Faolin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Faolin throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Palmotic counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Palmotic has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Faolin finds it's way round the side to connect with Palmotic's head.

Faolin takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

and Palmotic counters with a low kick, right behind Faolin 's knee.
Palmotic just misses with a punch to the body.
Faolin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Palmotic. Faolin does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Palmotic counters with a crisp right hand that drops Faolin! Palmotic lets Faolin back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Palmotic is looking to wear down Faolin with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters circling - Palmotic throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Faolin throws a leg kick
and Palmotic makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Faolin really felt that one!
Palmotic uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Faolin.
A quick step to the side and Palmotic tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Faolin moves to clinch but Palmotic breaks away

and Palmotic counters with a nice right hand that sends Faolin toppling to the canvas! Faolin scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Palmotic finish him?!

Faolin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Palmotic makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Faolin is still on wobbly legs! Can Palmotic finish him?
Palmotic thumps Faolin with a low kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Palmotic.
Faolin seems to have recovered his senses.
Palmotic throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Faolin crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
