And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Small Dude!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dude throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sheppard seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Sheppard displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Sheppard digs a good hook to Dude's body.
Dude shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Sheppard looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sheppard lands with a good body shot.
Sheppard lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Dude fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sheppard avoids it really well and circles away.

Oooooh!!! Sheppard has knocked Dude down with a huge combo! Sheppard steps away and waves a wobbly Dude back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Dude is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sheppard leaves Dude with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dude walks straight into a right hand from Sheppard - that's dropped him! Sheppard jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Dude from any more punishment! Dude complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). John Sheppard!
After the fight, John Sheppard was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
