Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Timo Leeuwenhoek (ranked 4301 p4p, 4902 weight class) and Park Yo Ka (ranked 472 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Timo Leeuwenhoek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Park Yo Ka! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yo Ka shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Yo Ka was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Leeuwenhoek on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Leeuwenhoek tries to get out of the position. Yo Ka fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Leeuwenhoek takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yo Ka tries to score with some ground and pound. Leeuwenhoek controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Leeuwenhoek is trying to get back to half guard. Yo Ka trying to control the position but Leeuwenhoek is working away. Leeuwenhoek is trying to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The ground and pound from Yo Ka seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Yo Ka trying to control the position but Leeuwenhoek is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leeuwenhoek tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Yo Ka wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Yo Ka has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Yo Ka throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Yo Ka in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Yo Ka in side control, throwing shots but Leeuwenhoek defends. Yo Ka trying to control the action but Leeuwenhoek is working from the bottom. The ground and pound from Yo Ka seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Yo Ka tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Yo Ka has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Leeuwenhoek is not content to let Yo Ka control the position. An elbow from Yo Ka crashes against the mat.
Leeuwenhoek looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Yo Ka misses with the ground and pound. Yo Ka tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Yo Ka working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yo Ka in side control, throwing shots but Leeuwenhoek defends. Leeuwenhoek prevents Yo Ka from improving position. Yo Ka trying to control the action but Leeuwenhoek is working from the bottom. Yo Ka advances to full mount. Yo Ka throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Leeuwenhoek wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Yo Ka.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yo Ka working for a submission but Leeuwenhoek is keeping him at bay. Yo Ka wants to control the pace but Leeuwenhoek is squirming around nicely. Yo Ka working for a submission but Leeuwenhoek is keeping him at bay. Yo Ka has hold of Leeuwenhoek's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Leeuwenhoek manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Poor strikes thrown by Yo Ka there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Park Yo Ka dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Yo Ka shoots in but no luck this time. Leeuwenhoek tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Yo Ka manages to circle out of the way. Nice takedown defense from Leeuwenhoek. No joy for Yo Ka on that attempt. Leeuwenhoek works the jab nicely.
It looks like Park Yo Ka has been cut. Yo Ka takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Yo Ka fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Leeuwenhoek sprawls well initially but Yo Ka persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Yo Ka missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Leeuwenhoek wants to control but Yo Ka is keeping busy and won't allow it. Leeuwenhoek is not content to let Yo Ka control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leeuwenhoek tries to roll over but Yo Ka keeps him under control. Leeuwenhoek trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Yo Ka jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Leeuwenhoek manages to avoid the submission attempt. Yo Ka misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Leeuwenhoek dodges the ground and pound from Yo Ka. Yo Ka has knee on belly and moves into mount. Yo Ka unloads with some shots from mount but Leeuwenhoek bucks and avoids them well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yo Ka controlling the pace for now. Yo Ka throwing strikes here but Leeuwenhoek is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Leeuwenhoek has his hands clasped together but Yo Ka breaks the hold and Leeuwenhoek is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Yo Ka!
