Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yu Sei Songwong (ranked 3759 p4p, 2034 weight class) and Jorge Rojas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Songwong looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Songwong connects with an inside leg kick.
Songwong with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That kick from Songwong tenderised Rojas's leg. Rojas is trying to keep his angry face on.
Rojas shoots in and drives through. Songwong sprawls well.
Rojas fails with a takedown attempt.
Songwong swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Songwong misses with a takedown attempt - Rojas sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Rojas only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Rojas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Songwong as he jumps to the side.
Yu Sei Songwong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jorge Rojas.
Songwong lands a leg kick that knocks Rojas off balance momentarily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Songwong shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rojas counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Songwong looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Songwong has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Rojas doesn't defend quickly enough and Songwong has managed to lock this one up! Can Rojas escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Songwong on a fantastic submission victory.
