Mendiola drops Lei with a big left hand and mounts him. Lei is in big trouble!
Lei looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee warns Lei that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Mendiola takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
