The fight stays on the outside here - Ali looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fernandez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Fernandez working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Fernandez thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fernandez is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ali is trying to escape and Fernandez transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ali is forced to tap! Nice work there by Fernandez! Very nice indeed!
