Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kugus Amiga (ranked 24290 p4p, 24397 weight class) and Richard John Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 29 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion shoots in but no luck this time. Amiga stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Amiga wants it to stay on the feet. Amiga has a takedown stuffed. Salvacion is trying to counter with his kicks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion darts in looking for a takedown but Amiga gets double underhooks and turns Salvacion into the cage. And Amiga counters with a quick kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it. Kugus Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard John Salvacion. Amiga shoots in for a takedown but Salvacion shows good takedown defense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Salvacion tries to sprawl but Amiga drives through with a takedown into half guard. Amiga is taking a breather. Salvacion says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Salvacion regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salvacion is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salvacion controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Amiga with a lazy takedown attempt and Salvacion counters with a solid body kick. Salvacion fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Horrible takedown attempt by Amiga or perhaps it was just good defense by Salvacion, which made it look bad.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Salvacion scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Salvacion controlling the action here. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Richard John Salvacion will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Salvacion looks to throw a body kick and Amiga counters with a solid body kick. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown but Amiga shows good takedown defense. Salvacion looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Amiga! Salvacion happy to just control the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga tries to bench press Salvacion off him but Salvacion keeps the position. You can see the frustration on Amiga's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Amiga shoots in looking for a takedown but Salvacion manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Amiga's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Salvacion counters with a body kick. Salvacion gets a double leg takedown into Amiga's guard. Amiga looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Salvacion not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga is trying to control the position but Salvacion postures up. Salvacion has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Salvacion trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Salvacion is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Amiga looking for a sweep. Not yet Amiga, not yet.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Salvacion dives in and scores a takedown into Amiga's guard. Salvacion controlling from the top position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Richard John Salvacion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! Amiga goes for a double leg but Salvacion avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Salvacion continues to drive forward. Amiga tries to pull guard but Salvacion won't allow it.
Amiga can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kugus Amiga. That's going to take a lot out of him. Salvacion has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Amiga avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga breaks from the clinch.

Amiga gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salvacion controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Salvacion is continuing to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga pulls Salvacion in close to his closed guard and prevents Salvacion from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Salvacion controls from within his opponent's guard. Kugus Amiga has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Richard John Salvacion is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Amiga!
And that's the end of the fight! Richard John Salvacion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Salvacion has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
