Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Benito Luigi Graffagnino! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Snake! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snake stuffs the takedown attempt from Graffagnino. Graffagnino gets slowly back to his feet. Graffagnino pivots, looking for a leg kick but Snake is out of range and Graffagnino settles back down. No luck with that takedown attempt from Snake. Graffagnino wants to clinch. Snake looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Graffagnino is fending him off so far but Snake persists. Nope, Graffagnino circles away and we're back to standing. Snake keeps the fight on the outside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snake shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Graffagnino pinned against the cage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This has been an exciting period of action! Snake decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Graffagnino, up you get! Snake throws a head kick that Graffagnino semi-blocks.

Graffagnino leaves Snake with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Graffagnino went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Graffagnino fails to land the takedown. Snake misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
