Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Hetman (ranked 4684 p4p, 25469 weight class) and Diego Not Carlos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Hetman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Diego Not Carlos!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hetman throws a body punch but Not Carlos moves out of range.

Hetman scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Hetman content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Not Carlos is working to avoid the ground and pound but Hetman connects with a decent elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hetman staying calm.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Not Carlos wants to control but Hetman postures up.

Hetman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Hetman scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Not Carlos to see if he's OK.

Not Carlos is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Hetman is figuring out what he wants to do next.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hetman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Not Carlos with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hetman in particular looking to stall.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Not Carlos is trying to control but can't.
Hetman slows the pace down in half guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Hetman fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Not Carlos sprawls well initially but Hetman persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Not Carlos might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hetman haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Hetman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Not Carlos can do to turn this around?

This is a sustained period of stalling by Hetman.
Hetman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Not Carlos for as long as he can get away with.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Not Carlos tries to reverse the position but Hetman maintains control.
Hetman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Not Carlos tries to lock up and control but Hetman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Hetman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Not Carlos is breathing heavily.

Hetman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hetman showed some decent athleticism there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
