Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guido Rizzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diesel Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Power has chosen Voodoo people as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Guido Rizzo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Diesel Power! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Power fails to land the takedown. Power is looking to clinch but Rizzo is avoiding it.
Power looks for a takedown but Rizzo sprawls well. Rizzo chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Power shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Rizzo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rizzo. Rizzo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rizzo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Power gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Rizzo has an active guard here but Power has managed to pass into half guard.
Rizzo is defending against the submission attempts here by Power.
Rizzo is looking to control Power's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rizzo avoid being mounted?
That's one minute gone in the round. Rizzo tries to roll over but Power keeps him under control. Power thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rizzo's head. Power landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Power lands strikes from half guard. Power is thwarting Rizzo's attempts to control the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Power looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Power wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rizzo keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Power looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rizzo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Rizzo is defending against the submission attempts here by Power.

The fighters are battling for position here. Rizzo manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Power drops back looking for a leg! Rizzo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rizzo manages to kick Power off! Power jumps back into Rizzo's guard. Power looks gassed! Rizzo wants to sweep here but Power controlling him for the moment. Power slips nicely into half guard. Rizzo trying to get back to full guard but Power takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rizzo is looking to improve his position but Power isn't that keen on the idea. Power breaks from Rizzo's wrist control and lands an elbow. The referee warns Rizzo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Rizzo is in all sorts of trouble here.
Power landing shots from mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Power cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Power cracks Rizzo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The referee warns Rizzo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Power working for a guillotine from mount but Rizzo is in no mood to give up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rizzo tries to lock up and control but Power gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rizzo is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
A nice elbow there by Power. Power landing strikes, looking to finish! Power is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Rizzo can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Power get's back to his feet. Power looks to land a combination. Rizzo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Power throws a wild combination but nothing lands. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Power looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Rizzo is looking for a sweep. Power is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Power is working for a kimura but Rizzo is defending it quite comfortably.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Diesel Power dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Rizzo throws a right and a left that both miss. Power bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Rizzo is trying to get back to half guard. Power scoring with punches and elbows. Power is trying to get an arm triangle but Rizzo is defending well. Power looks up at the clock and then as Rizzo takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Power smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Power working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Power misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Power trying to control the action but Rizzo is working from the bottom. Rizzo is looking to reverse the position. Power looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Power working away. Rizzo throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Power looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rizzo is fending him off so far but Power persists. Nope, Rizzo circles away and we're back to standing. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Power. Rizzo with a lazy takedown attempt so Power counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Power trying to control the position from guard on top but Rizzo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rizzo looking for a sweep. Not yet Rizzo, not yet. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Power looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Rizzo controls Power momentarily but Power frees himself.

Diesel Power showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Power doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rizzo counters with a takedown into side control. Power manages to work his way to half guard, despite Rizzo's best efforts. Rizzo wants to stand but Power has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Power is not content to let Rizzo control the position. Power actively working from the bottom here. Power keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Power moves into full guard.

Power has his foot on Rizzo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rizzo works his way back into a safe position though. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rizzo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Power is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rizzo, into his guard. Rizzo has his foot on Power's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Power works his way back into a safe position though. Power postures up and lands a big shot to Rizzo's brow. Power is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Rizzo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Rizzo wants to sweep here but Power controlling him for the moment. Power content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Power lands a couple of digs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Power postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Well,Rizzo is on his way to losing a decision here. Can he use his experience to pull something off in the closing minutes?
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rizzo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Power circles away quickly and effectively. Power tries for a takedown but Rizzo circles away easily and Rizzo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Power throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Power looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rizzo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Power looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rizzo is one step ahead there. Power looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Power misses with a takedown and Rizzo counters with a nice kick to the body. Guido Rizzo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diesel Power. Power gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Rizzo looking to sit in guard and control but Power gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Power wants to control from the top but Rizzo keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Power chips away with some ground and pound. Power is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Power tries to free his leg and advance position but Rizzo is retaining full guard. Rizzo tries to land a sweep but no joy. Power with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Power has gone for a leg lock! Rizzo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Power's guard. Power looking for a sweep. Not yet Power, not yet. Guido Rizzo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Diesel Power is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Power has his hands on Rizzo's head, controlling the position. Rizzo is looking to work some ground and pound but Power has wrist control.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Guido Rizzo. I think Power has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
