Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hao Qiang (ranked 2094 p4p, 2587 weight class) and Frank Blank (ranked 116 p4p, 138 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hao Qiang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Blank!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blank takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Blank moves forwards but Qiang connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Frank Blank has been cut.
The fighters circle momentarily. Blank darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Hao Qiang has been cut.
Qiang ducks under a wild hook from Blank.

Blank gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Blank blocks an uppercut.
Qiang lands a right hand.
Blank struggles to land a body shot inside as Qiang controls his hands.
Qiang misses with a punch on the inside.
Blank misses with a punch on the inside.
Qiang makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Blank wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Blank tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Qiang tries to throw a body punch but Blank avoids it by throwing Qiang back against the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Blank.

Blank breaks the clinch.

Blank has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Blank there as he acknowledges the shot.
Qiang lands a nice leg kick that just misses Blank's sensitive parts.
Qiang throws a jab but it's blocked by Blank.
Blank closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blank throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Qiang counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

That has opened up Frank Blank's cut even more.
Qiang throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Blank stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Qiang buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Qiang seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Qiang scores with a leg kick.
Blank on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Qiang scores with a hook to the body. Blank takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Blank misses the jab.
Blank tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Qiang paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Blank lands a right hook to the body.
Nice straight punches there by Qiang. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Qiang.

Qiang lands a slapping body shot.
Whack! Qiang lands a heavy head kick that drops Blank. The ref tackles Qiang to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Blank was done.
