The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzpatrick tries for a takedown but Rojo circles away easily
and Rojo counters with a straight right hand.
Fitzpatrick looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Fitzpatrick moves out of range as Rojo strikes.
Rojo misses the jab.
Fitzpatrick closes the distance and clinches.
Rojo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Fitzpatrick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Rojo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Rojo throws a looping overhand right but Fitzpatrick ducks down to avoid it.
Fitzpatrick has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fitzpatrick there as he acknowledges the shot.
Shane Fitzpatrick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rojo cracks Fitzpatrick with a hook to the temple - Fitzpatrick is on wobbly legs here! Rojo swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Fitzpatrick falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Rojo wins by TKO!
