And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sage Kopel!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borisov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kopel manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Kopel looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Borisov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Borisov shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Borisov is looking for a kimura but Kopel is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Borisov to get the leverage.
Borisov content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Borisov.

Borisov in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kopel tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Borisov!
