Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hristo Borisov (ranked 4142 p4p, 6240 weight class) and Sage Kopel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hristo Borisov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sage Kopel's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Hristo Borisov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sage Kopel! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Borisov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kopel manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Kopel looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Borisov looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Borisov drops back looking for a leg! Kopel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kopel manages to kick Borisov off! Borisov jumps back into Kopel's guard. Borisov's corner is telling him to maintain position. That's one minute gone in the round. Borisov content to stall in guard here. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Borisov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Borisov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Borisov drops back looking for a leg! Kopel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kopel manages to kick Borisov off! Borisov jumps back into Kopel's guard. Kopel being controlled here, momentarily.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Kopel gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Borisov controlling from the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Borisov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Borisov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Borisov tries to stand but Kopel is controlling from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Borisov shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Borisov is looking for a kimura but Kopel is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Borisov to get the leverage. Borisov content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. This is a sustained period of stalling by Borisov. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Borisov in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kopel tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Borisov!
