Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Romulo Ferreira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob White!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira lands with a straight right. White didn't see that one coming.
Ferreira stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ferreira wants it to stay on the feet.
Ferreira seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
White is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ferreira clobbers White with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ferreira cracks White with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
White finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Ferreira's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and White falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Romulo Ferreira!
