Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brendan Dellorusso!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jair Bolsonaro!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolsonaro lands with a nice body punch.
Good work by Bolsonaro as he checks the leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Bolsonaro shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dellorusso as he avoids it easily.
Bolsonaro fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Bolsonaro gets tackled into the cage by Dellorusso. Dellorusso maintains the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Bolsonaro.
Bolsonaro lands a nice shot to the body.

Dellorusso has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bolsonaro is trying to keep an underhook but Dellorusso manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Dellorusso seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Dellorusso looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bolsonaro wants to get back to his feet.

Dellorusso frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Dellorusso get's back to his feet.
Dellorusso stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dellorusso wants it to stay on the feet.
Brendan Dellorusso has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jair Bolsonaro.
Bolsonaro dives in and grabs Dellorusso's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dellorusso pushes down on Bolsonaro's head and hops out.
Dellorusso goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Bolsonaro shoots in looking for a takedown. Dellorusso tries to sprawl out of it but Bolsonaro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dellorusso manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bolsonaro throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Dellorusso slaps away a takedown attempt from Bolsonaro, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bolsonaro connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Dellorusso moves into the clinch.

Bolsonaro avoiding damage as Dellorusso throws knees to the body.
Bolsonaro tries to throw a body punch but Dellorusso avoids it by throwing Bolsonaro back against the cage.
Bolsonaro throws a head punch that misses.
Bolsonaro tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dellorusso's elbow.
Bolsonaro stops a takedown attempt from Dellorusso.
Dellorusso slows down the pace here.
Bolsonaro tries for a takedown but Dellorusso manages to get underhooks.
Dellorusso has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bolsonaro is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Dellorusso gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bolsonaro.
Bolsonaro tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Dellorusso is working for takedown but Bolsonaro is calmly controlling the position for now.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Dellorusso tightens his grip and picks Bolsonaro up, before dumping him to the ground. Bolsonaro manages to land in guard.
Dellorusso is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Dellorusso is standing up over Bolsonaro. Bolsonaro looks to escape but Dellorusso dives into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Dellorusso working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Dellorusso stands up.
Bolsonaro misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Dellorusso gets the takedown into side control.
Dellorusso has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Bolsonaro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dellorusso. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dellorusso working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Bolsonaro turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Dellorusso off and cradles Bolsonaro's limp body as Dellorusso celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Brendan Dellorusso!
