Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Big Smash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Rolle!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rolle shoots for a double leg takedown but Smash sprawls well. He's pushed Rolle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Smash lands a jab to the nose.
Horrible takedown attempt by Smash or perhaps it was just good defense by Rolle, which made it look bad.
Smash drives through and clinches with Rolle against the cage.
Smash is leaning against Rolle and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Rolle tries for a takedown. No joy.

Smash lands a left hand that snaps the head of Rolle backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rolle drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Smash gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Smash pushes Rolle against the cage. Smash is working some dirty boxing. Smash pushes off with a quick right hook! Rolle goes down! Rolle tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Smash moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
