Savage swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hayden flicks out a counter leg kick but Savage steps away.
Savage lands a left and a right that send Hayden crashing to the mat, dazed. Savage thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hayden is rocked!
It looks like Clay Hayden has been cut.
Hayden circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Savage. Hayden falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Savage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). The Royal Savage!
A relieved looking The Royal Savage thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
