Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Gable (ranked 2599 p4p, 2793 weight class) and Andrew Kelvin (ranked 308 p4p, 330 weight class). Andrew Kelvin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andrew Kelvin!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelvin cracks Gable with a right hand to the side of the head.
Kelvin cracks a nice hook into Gable's ribs.
Gable closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kelvin did well to prevent Gable getting side control.
Gable takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Gable tries to pass to full mount but Kelvin defends it.
Kelvin wants to improve his position but Gable is controlling well.
Kelvin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Gable with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Kelvin trying to hold on to Gable's head to control him but Gable postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gable seems to be looking for submissions.
Kelvin wants to control but Gable is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Still in half guard, Gable seems content to control.
Kelvin is looking to control Gable's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kelvin avoid being mounted?

Kelvin has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Gable. Oh but Kelvin has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Gable goes limp - he's gone! Kelvin jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
