Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerry Brooks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reign San Nicholas!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract San Nicholas.
San Nicholas lands with a good body shot.
Brooks thows a left - swing and a miss!
San Nicholas is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Brooks with a body shot.
San Nicholas throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Brooks stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
San Nicholas avoids a punch combination nicely.
San Nicholas throws a head kick that half lands.
Brooks falls off balance throwing a combination
and San Nicholas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brooks on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Brooks moves out of range as San Nicholas strikes.

San Nicholas wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Brooks avoids the head kick by San Nicholas.
Brooks on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by San Nicholas. San Nicholas obviously looking to wear him down.
Reign San Nicholas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
San Nicholas throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Brooks misses with a series of wild punches.
Brooks throws a right hand that misses
and San Nicholas counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Brooks is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Brooks is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
San Nicholas lands a right hook to the body.
Oh Brooks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brooks looks up at the clock. Bad move! San Nicholas lands a right hand from hell, dropping Brooks. San Nicholas pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Reign San Nicholas!
Reign San Nicholas was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
