Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lae Praye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crazy Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Praye's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Carry That Weight. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lae Praye!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Crazy Dog!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Praye tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dog was well out of range. Poor timing from Praye.
A head kick misses from Praye.

Praye moves into the clinch successfully.

Dog breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dog getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Praye looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Dog!
Praye controlling the position easily from mount.
Praye avoids the attempt from Dog to control.
Dog is in all sorts of trouble here.

Praye can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dog is looking to escape.
Dog tries to hold on but Praye pushes him away.
Praye prevents Dog from getting the reversal.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dog regains half guard.
Praye really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...

Praye stands up from half guard.
Dog tries to bum rush Praye with a series of wild strikes but Praye uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Praye feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Praye might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Praye stands up from Dog's guard - Praye perhaps looking for a knockout.

Praye drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Dog looks gassed!

Praye stands up.

Dog gets caught flat footed, as Praye shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Praye stands and steps away. Dog gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Praye throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Dog counter with a right hand.

Praye fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dog sprawls well initially but Praye persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Praye gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Praye closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Praye lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Praye looks to score with a jab to the body but Dog is just out of range.
Dog throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Praye shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Praye slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dog is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lae Praye dominated that round.
That's time! Praye's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Praye changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dog looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Praye stands up and beckons Dog to his feet.
Praye fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Praye shoots in and bounces Dog off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Lae Praye overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Praye stands up from Dog's guard - Praye perhaps looking for a knockout.

Praye moves into the clinch successfully.
Dog is breathing heavily.

Praye manages to break the clinch.

Praye missing with a left hand there. Dog was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dog throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Praye shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dog manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Praye controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dog is working an open guard so Praye takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Lae Praye is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Praye rushes Dog and presses him up against the cage.
Dog tries to circle away but Praye has him pinned against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Praye's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dog checks a leg kick.

Dog gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Praye to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Dog is trying to keep Praye in close.

Praye decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Dog takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Praye.

Praye stands up and beckons Dog to his feet.

Praye closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dog is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Praye jumps into side control!
Praye tries to move to mount but Dog blocks the move with his legs.

Praye stands up and beckons Dog to his feet.

Dog gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Praye to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Praye is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dog can do to turn this around?

Praye stands up and waves to Dog to follow him.
Praye misses with a double jab.

Praye decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dog trying to control here.
Dog is trying to escape back to his feet but Praye uses the scramble to pass into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lae Praye dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!



Praye rushes Dog and presses him up against the cage.

Praye manages to break the clinch.
Praye misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Dog counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Praye thinking.
Dog lands with an uppercut that bounces Praye off the cage and back into rage.
Dog tries to grapple but his opponent circles

so Praye counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Dog not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dog looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Praye puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Dog won't allow Praye to pass to mount.
Dog takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Praye prevents Dog from standing back up.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Praye escapes and gets back to his feet.
Praye fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Praye bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Dog wants to control but Praye postures up.
Dog is trying to get back to his feet.

Praye decides to stand back up. Praye steps back and let's Dog get back to his feet.

Praye gets a takedown into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Praye passes to full mount!
Praye sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Praye wants to control the pace but Dog is squirming around nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Praye controlling from mount.
Praye trying to control but Dog is having none of it.
Lae Praye is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Praye takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Praye's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Lae Praye just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Lae Praye showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Praye has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
