Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Diego Salazar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Japhet Tuhanuku!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuhanuku is trying hard to land a takedown here. Salazar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Tuhanuku shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Salazar but Salazar pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Salazar tries to counter by clinching up but Tuhanuku breaks away and moves out of range.

Tuhanuku has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Salazar avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tuhanuku takes an elbow to the temple.
Tuhanuku is rocked!
That has opened up Japhet Tuhanuku's cut even more.
Salazar creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Tuhanuku with a big uppercut! Tuhanuku tries to clinch up but Salazar pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Tuhanuku to the mat! Tuhanuku covers up and Salazar unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Diego Salazar!
Our winner, Diego Salazar, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
