Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davon Davis (ranked 2575 p4p, 3224 weight class) and Arthur Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Davon Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arthur Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Morgan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Davis.
Morgan unleashes a big counter combination but Davis bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Morgan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Davis avoids a punch combination nicely.
Davon Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Morgan let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Morgan ducks under a wild hook from Davis.
Morgan throws a counter combo.
Morgan looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Davis walks into a jab.
Morgan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Davon Davis has been cut.
Davis sizes up Morgan with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Davis has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Morgan finds it's way round the side to connect with Davis's head.
Davis throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Morgan counters with a straight right hand.
Davis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Morgan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Morgan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Davis lands a head kick. Morgan smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Morgan throws a sloppy head kick and Davis moves out of range easily.
Davis looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Morgan checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Morgan scores with a crisp jab that stopped Davis in his tracks.
Davis wants to slow Morgan down by chopping away at his legs.
Good exchange - Davis coming out on top.
A looping hook to the body misses from Morgan. Davis does a little dance to reset his feet.
Davis lunges at Morgan with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Morgan's hand.
Morgan moves out of range of the body kick.
Morgan tries to clinch up.
An attempted straight right counter from Davis misses the target.
Davis throws a body kick, spinning off balance
letting Morgan counter with a right hand.
Morgan lands a head kick. Davis smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Davis finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Morgan misses with a jab, cross combination.
Davis darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Morgan forces Davis back against the cage and clinches.
A shot in the inside from Davis.
Davis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Davis lands the left hand.
Davis thows a leg kick but Morgan checks it
and Morgan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Morgan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Davis connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Morgan is rocked!
Davis throws a hook to the side of Morgan's head but Morgan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Davis looks to land a body kick but Morgan moved away.
Davis swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Morgan.
Morgan is still on wobbly legs! Can Davis finish him?
That has opened up Arthur Morgan's cut even more.
Morgan takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Davis finds Morgan's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Morgan flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Davis lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Morgan will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Davon Davis!
After winning the bout, Davon Davis thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
