Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Petrosyan (ranked 4245 p4p, 4261 weight class) and Odo Morley (ranked 450 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bryan Petrosyan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Odo Morley! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petrosyan checks the leg kick nicely there.
Petrosyan appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Petrosyan avoids the head kick by Morley.
Morley throws a right and a left that both miss. Petrosyan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Petrosyan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Morley. Petrosyan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Morley circles away quickly and effectively. Petrosyan is looking to clinch. Morley is looking for the big counter here. Petrosyan throws a series of punches but Morley moves out of range. Morley fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Petrosyan, pushing him back against the cage. Morley looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Petrosyan throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Petrosyan has a couple of punches blocked by Morley.
Petrosyan blocks a body shot from Morley. Petrosyan lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Morley. Morley tries for a takedown but Petrosyan manages to get underhooks.
Petrosyan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petrosyan tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Morley avoids it. Petrosyan has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Morley after a bit of a struggle. Morley is trying to drag Petrosyan to the mat but Petrosyan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Bryan Petrosyan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Odo Morley. Morley tries to circle away but Petrosyan has him pinned against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Morley takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Morley is pressed up against the cage. Petrosyan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Morley down to the mat. Morley avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Petrosyan lands a nice looking body shot.
Morley looks winded! Petrosyan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Morley was well out of range. Poor timing from Petrosyan. Bryan Petrosyan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morley shoots in for a takedown but Petrosyan shows good takedown defense. Petrosyan lands a head kick. Morley smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Morley moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. A nice combination there by Petrosyan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petrosyan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Morley closes the distance and pushes Petrosyan back into the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Petrosyan jumps guard and drags Morley to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Morley trying to control but Petrosyan is working from the bottom. Petrosyan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Morley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Petrosyan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Morley is aware though and is defending well. Petrosyan is looking for a triangle but Morley pushes his legs off easily.
Morley landing with the ground and pound. Morley seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petrosyan has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Morley is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Petrosyan. Morley controls the position. Petrosyan tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Morley landing strikes from the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Petrosyan is trying desperately to improve position. Morley is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Petrosyan is surviving well by controlling Morley's body position as best he can. Morley with a couple of short strikes. Petrosyan can't escape the position.
Morley working Petrosyan over with strikes here. Morley scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Petrosyan?
Morley is landing with some decent strikes but Petrosyan is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Petrosyan really wants to buck Morley off and get back to his feet. Morley tries to control but Petrosyan wriggling away. Morley controlling from mount. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Odo Morley will probably get the nod. That's time! Petrosyan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Morley shoots in for a double leg but Petrosyan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. No luck for Morley with that takedown attempt. Jab by Petrosyan. Petrosyan misses with a body kick. And Morley tries to counter it with a takedown but Petrosyan pushes his down on his head and steps out. Bryan Petrosyan is winning the standup battle so far. Petrosyan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Morley clinches up against the cage. Morley goes for a takedown attempt but Petrosyan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bryan Petrosyan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Odo Morley. Petrosyan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Petrosyan misses with a kick to the body.
Morley changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Morley takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petrosyan gets in close and instigates a clinch. Petrosyan is trying to force a seperation but Morley has the dominant position. Morley jumps guard.
Morley has his foot on Petrosyan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Petrosyan works his way back into a safe position though. Morley is breathing heavily. Petrosyan tries to stand but Morley is controlling from the bottom. Petrosyan stands up and waves to Morley to follow him. Petrosyan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Morley moves away. Morley dives in for a single leg takedown but Petrosyan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Morley avoids a punch combination nicely.
Petrosyan lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petrosyan fails to land with a series of punches.
Morley tries to counter with a clinch but Petrosyan shakes him off and moves away. Morley blocks the body kick.
Morley scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Petrosyan has one foot on Morley's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Petrosyan throws a series of punches but Morley avoids them all with ease. Petrosyan throws a head kick but Morley moves out of range.
Petrosyan sets himself, and Morley steps forward looking for the clinch! Petrosyan avoids it this time. Petrosyan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Petrosyan lands with a right hand. Petrosyan wants to clinch up but Morley keeps it at a distance. Petrosyan feints a jab promting Morley to slip. Petrosyan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Morley slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Petrosyan rushes Morley and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petrosyan has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Petrosyan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Morley can do to turn this around? Morley is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Petrosyan throws a punch but it's blocked by Morley. Petrosyan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Morley staying out of range there. And Morley tries to counter it with a takedown but Petrosyan pushes his down on his head and steps out. Petrosyan throws a series of punches but Morley avoids them all with ease. Petrosyan connects with a looping right hand.
Petrosyan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Petrosyan swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Morley has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Petrosyan uses from the top position. Morley looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Petrosyan trying to control but Morley is working from the bottom. Petrosyan wants to pass the guard but Morley is keeping the position. Morley looking to hit a scissor sweep but Petrosyan is one step ahead there. Morley avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Bryan Petrosyan dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Morley looks for a takedown but Petrosyan sprawls well. Petrosyan throws a left and a right that both miss
and Morley counters with a nice double leg into guard. Morley postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Petrosyan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Morley cracks Petrosyan with a solid left hand. Petrosyan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Morley on the ground. Petrosyan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Morley defends it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Morley's corner. There ya go! There ya go! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Morley working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Odo Morley has got the better of the ground game so far.

Morley landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Morley lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Morley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Morley tries to stand but can't do so whilst Petrosyan controls his leg. Petrosyan tries to roll over but Morley keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morley is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Petrosyan has hold of Morley's hands but Morley slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Morley wants to stand but Petrosyan has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Morley drops an elbow to the side of Petrosyan's head. Petrosyan is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Morley scores with a couple of nice shots. Morley controlling the pace. Morley is working for a kimura but Petrosyan is defending it quite comfortably.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Petrosyan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Morley pulls his head out easily. Petrosyan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Petrosyan has hold of Morley's hands but Morley slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Morley trying to control from half guard but Petrosyan is working away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Morley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Petrosyan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Morley works his way into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Odo Morley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Morley has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
