Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hick McMurray!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

St Paul has managed to clinch.
McMurray wants to take the fight to the mat but St Paul manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from St Paul.

St Paul throws a head punch that misses.
St Paul misses with a shot to the kidneys.

McMurray is trying to pull guard but St Paul turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

McMurray tries for a takedown. No joy.
Pierre St Paul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hick McMurray.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McMurray tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. St Paul just stands there and leans against the cage.

St Paul could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
St Paul has a couple of punches blocked by McMurray.

St Paul lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
McMurray keeps control of St Paul as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
St Paul swings away with an uppercut that misses.
McMurray blocks an uppercut.
St Paul tries to throw a body punch but McMurray avoids it by throwing St Paul back against the cage.
McMurray blocking some punches.
St Paul misses with a punch on the inside.

McMurray tries to pull guard but St Paul forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
McMurray tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. St Paul smiles and moves away.
McMurray tries for a takedown but St Paul sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

St Paul lands a hook that snaps the head of McMurray backwards.

McMurray decides to pull guard.
St Paul wants to pass the guard but McMurray is keeping the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
St Paul loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
St Paul controls from within his opponent's guard.
St Paul continues to stall.
St Paul has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
St Paul's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

St Paul avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

McMurray working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. St Paul doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. St Paul manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
St Paul controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

St Paul looks to land a right hand but McMurray moved out of range.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
McMurray is trying hard to land a takedown here. St Paul sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
McMurray blocks a head kick by St Paul.
St Paul throws a monster overhand right that drops McMurray! St Paul follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
