Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Soso Anzor (ranked 2812 p4p, 1997 weight class) and Las Vegas (ranked 137 p4p, 101 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Soso Anzor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Las Vegas!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anzor shoots in for a takedown but Vegas shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Vegas slaps away a takedown attempt from Anzor, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Anzor shoots in and gets a takedown into Vegas's guard.
Anzor postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

It looks like Las Vegas has been cut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anzor scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anzor tries to free his leg and advance position but Vegas is retaining full guard.
Vegas has momentary wrist control but Anzor slips an elbow through the middle.
Anzor definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Anzor throws a strike but Vegas rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Anzor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vegas on the ground.

Anzor is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Anzor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Vegas is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Vegas goes for a takedown in the clinch but Anzor prevents it.
Soso Anzor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Las Vegas.

That was a close round but I would say that Soso Anzor will probably get the nod.

That's time! Anzor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Anzor drops down looking for a counter takedown but Vegas sprawls and moves away.
Anzor throws a lazy right hand but Vegas sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Anzor takes a swing at Vegas's ribcage but misses.
Soso Anzor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

You can see the frustration on Anzor's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Anzor parries the strikes from Vegas easily there. Vegas is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Anzor to escape.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Vegas cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Las Vegas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Vegas working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
