The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Borrabotas gets caught flat footed, as Goransson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Goransson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Borrabotas is just riding it out for now. Goransson eventually gives up the hold.

Borrabotas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Borrabotas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Goransson swivels and escapes.
It seemed like Goransson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Borrabotas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Goransson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Borrabotas somewhat.
Borrabotas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Goransson tries to avoid it but Borrabotas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Goransson to the ground. Goransson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thyago Borrabotas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
