Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Jiu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes looks to land a combination but Jiu avoids it well.
Nice takedown defense from Nunes. No joy for Jiu on that attempt.

Nunes shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jiu's guard.
Nunes is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Nunes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jiu looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jiu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nunes pinned against the cage. Nunes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Nunes counters with a shoot takedown. Jiu fights it but they end up in guard.

Nunes throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Nunes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Nunes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jiu, who protects the arm well.
Jiu tries to improve position but can't.

Nunes is working for a guillotine from mount but Jiu frees his head quite easily.
Nunes is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jiu has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jiu!

Jiu passes Nunes's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Nunes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jiu on the ground.
Nunes is refusing to be controlled, as Jiu sits in half guard.
Jiu seems to be working for a kimura but Nunes defends the submission attempt.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Nunes cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Nunes wants to control the pace but Jiu is squirming around nicely.
Nunes is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Jiu is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Jiu flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Nunes anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Jiu and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Nunes slips an arm under Jiu chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Nunes has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Nunes is squeezing on Jiu like an anaconda would it's prey. Jiu fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
