Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mason St Jaques (ranked 2405 p4p, 5630 weight class) and Derek Blueboy (ranked 147 p4p, 229 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mason St Jaques! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Derek Blueboy! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Blueboy as St Jaques shoots in. Blueboy shapes to counter with a head kick. St Jaques closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Blueboy's guard. Blueboy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. We've been informed that Blueboy has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Blueboy seems a little lost for a moment, as St Jaques dominates the positioning. St Jaques working the ground and pound. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Blueboy is looking for a sweep.

St Jaques is staying tight to Blueboy's torso, preventing him from escaping. St Jaques creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Blueboy takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Blueboy is rocked! St Jaques wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Blueboy, who protects the arm well. Blueboy is still in real trouble! Can St Jaques finish him? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. St Jaques working the ground and pound from side control.

And that's the end of the fight! Mason St Jaques showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for St Jaques, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
