The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durand Jr jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jacques Durand Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Durand Jr does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Durand Jr looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Burger looks to land a body kick but Durand Jr moved away.
Durand Jr fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Durand Jr avoids the head kick by Burger.
Durand Jr thows a body kick. Burger tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Durand Jr scores with a nice head shot.
Burger takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A jab from Durand Jr does it's job there.
Burger looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Durand Jr steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Burger.
Durand Jr misses with a body kick.
Durand Jr moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromBurger.
Nice jab there from Durand Jr.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Durand Jr drives through and clinches with Burger against the ropes.
Durand Jr landing knees to the head.

Durand Jr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Durand Jr cracks a nice hook into Burger's ribs.

Burger has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Durand Jr.
Nice body punch from Durand Jr.
Burger moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Burger smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Burger gets tackled into the ropes by Durand Jr. Durand Jr maintains the clinch.
Burger tries to break free but Durand Jr pushes him back against the ropes.

Durand Jr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Burger sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Burger looks to land a right hand but Durand Jr moved out of range.

Durand Jr darts in and clinches Burger up against the ropes.
Durand Jr lands a knee to the head.
Durand Jr stalls.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Durand Jr breaks the clinch.

Burger throws a sloppy head kick
and Durand Jr counters with a nice uppercut.
Durand Jr uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Burger lands a nice looking kick to the body. Durand Jr takes a step back to recover.
Burger swings for the body but Durand Jr moves out of range.
Burger walks into a jab.

Burger is rocked!
Durand Jr is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Durand Jr cracks Burger with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

After winning the bout, Jacques Durand Jr thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
