The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beckham walks into a straight right hand from River .
River avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Beckham drives through and clinches with River against the cage.
River breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
River leaves Beckham with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Fartus Beckham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beckham fails with an attempt to clinch.
Beckham tries a head kick but it misses.
River is looking to counter punch.

Beckham takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Beckham moves to clinch but River breaks away
and River connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

River lands a big right hand that sends Beckham crashing to the mat! River stays standing though and waves Beckham back to his feet!
Beckham is rocked!
River throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Beckham is still on wobbly legs! Can River finish him?
Beckham throws a sloppy head kick
and River counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Beckham walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Beckham limp body while River jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
