Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andreas Davis (ranked 3964 p4p, 4287 weight class) and Rasmus Mogensen (ranked 314 p4p, 328 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Andreas Davis has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Andreas Davis seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rasmus Mogensen!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, David Schapiro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mogensen looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Davis!
Davis tries to buck Mogensen off but Mogensen is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mogensen tries to advance to mount but can't.
Mogensen tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Mogensen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mogensen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mogensen has hold of Davis's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Davis tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Mogensen cranks the arm and Davis screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Davis, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Rasmus Mogensen!
After the fight, Rasmus Mogensen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
