Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Morril (ranked 4791 p4p, 6337 weight class) and Oliver Brimble (ranked 453 p4p, 490 weight class). Oliver Brimble is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Morril!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oliver Brimble!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brimble with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Morril to score with a decent uppercut.
Brimble rushes Morril and presses him up against the cage.
Brimble breaks the clinch.
Morril misses with a jab, cross combination.
Morril takes a swing at Brimble's ribcage but misses.
Brimble drives through and clinches with Morril against the cage.
Brimble just leaning against Morril, taking a breather.
Morril throws a head punch that misses.

Brimble throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
A frustrated look appears on Morril's face as he tries to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Morril has had enough of the clinch but Brimble keeps him there for the moment.
A head punch on the inside from Morril fails to land.
Morril breaks the clinch.
Morril blocks a head kick by Brimble.
Brimble gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Morril.

and Morril counters with a right hand to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brimble.
Brimble moves out of range of the strikes.
As Morril backs off Brimble throws a huge counter combo but Morril manages to avoid it all.
Morril dips to his left and cracks Brimble with an uppercut!
Brimble throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Morril's head.
Morril throws a shot to the body.
Morril swings for the body but Brimble moves out of range.
Brimble throws a wild body kick that Morril sees coming a mile off.
Brimble takes one on the button.
Brimble slips under a jab.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brimble.
An attempted straight right counter from Morril misses the target.

Brimble on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Sam Morril is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Brimble throws a low kick, looking for Morril's leg but Morril calmly moves out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brimble staying out of range there.

Brimble lands a high kick!
Brimble fails with the takedown.
Sam Morril has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oliver Brimble.
Brimble shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Morril but Morril pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Morril counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Morril scores with a nice strike.
Brimble walks into a straight right hand from Morril.
Brimble displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Morril throws out the jab.
Brimble tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

and Morril counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Brimble shoots for a double leg takedown but Morril sprawls well. He's pushed Brimble's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Morril lands a nice shot that snaps Brimble's head back.
Morril is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Morril listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Morril scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Brimble doesn't seem bothered though.
Brimble closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Brimble is rocked!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Morril steps in with a hook that catches Brimble right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Morril follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Brimble looks absolutely devastated.
