Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Giunta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Floyd Mayweather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mayweather comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Anthem for the underdog kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayweather shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mayweather fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mayweather rushes Giunta and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Giunta is trying to drag Mayweather to the mat but Mayweather just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Giunta tries to score a body lock takedown but Mayweather shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Mayweather has Giunta pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mayweather pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Giunta tumbling to the mat - Mayweather dives into Giunta's guard.

Mayweather is nestled in close to Giunta, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Giunta had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Mayweather is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Giunta Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mayweather's back instead.

Well Mayweather has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
