The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe misses with a straight right.
Ferguson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Monroe looks to land a right hand but Ferguson moved out of range.

Ferguson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Monroe might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Monroe throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ferguson sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Ferguson throws a hook to the side of Monroe's head but Monroe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

A left and a right from Ferguson both land. Nice combination.
Ferguson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Monroe circles away quickly and effectively.
Monroe throws a lazy right hand but Ferguson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Monroe bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ferguson's head backwards.

and Ferguson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ferguson is rocked!
Ferguson walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Ferguson limp body while Monroe jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
