This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 32 wins and 38 losses; Roman Boesku! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 9 losses; David McDonald!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.

McDonald is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
McDonald is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Boesku still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Boesku's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We've been hearing good reports from Boesku's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

McDonald is looking to cinch up a triangle. Boesku throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to McDonald's body to avoid the submission. McDonald has instead reached around Boesku's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! McDonald arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
